I can upload images to library, but I can't insert them into posts

  All of the sudden, I’m having image issues. I’ve used Just Desserts theme for over a year now without any issues. I can upload new images to the image library, but when I try to insert them into posts, a broken picture icon shows up. I don’t see any messages that I need to update anything. It won’t let me use any of my images in the “featured image” either, though they are the correct size.
