I cancel my domain and now is not available!

    I had a domain: hablemosdearvejas.com, it has expired a month ago then I canceled it.
    Now I want to register the domain again but in other domain service and I couldn’t because is unavailable.
    When I enter on hablemosdearvejas.com appear me this message:

    “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. “

    Please help me, I want to register my domain again!

    Hi GisseJo,

    The domain system doesn’t allow for a quick changeover of a cancelled domain like that, and actually takes several weeks to months for a domain to fully-expire and return to the marketplace (more about the timeline at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/ ).

    What we can do is petition to undo the cancellation, if we catch it in time, and you renew with WordPress.com for the next year. You can still use the domain anywhere (by changing nameservers, which I can help with when we get there), and you can transfer it to a different registrar.
