    I canceled my site and was still billed without prior notification. I want my money back

    the old account was deleted, which should have removed the biu

    (email visible only to moderators and staff) was the email FrugalMensFashions was the user name

  • You issued a chargeback through your credit card provider against your domain renewal, claiming that the renewal charge was fraudulent.

    Please keep in mind that chargebacks are not the correct way to receive a refund: https://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/chargebacks/

    You can always receive a refund from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases under the account which made the purchase, but not once a chargeback dispute has been filed.

    To receive a refund, please first cancel the chargeback dispute with your credit card provider, and we’ll take care of the refund for you.

    You don’t have a phone number and its impossible to get a real person to talk through.

    You can refund the money and I will withdrawal the complaint

    The charge was unauthorized

  • Auto-renewal was enabled on the domain, which is why the charge was issued.

    We cannot refund the money until the chargeback dispute is canceled. We will be happy to do it at as soon as you let us know the dispute is canceled, and verify that with our payment processor.

    I cannot continue to contest this with paypal if I recall the complaint. What guarantee do I have that you will pay me.

    You’re well within the refund window for renewals, so we would absolutely process the refund for you:

    Manage Your Purchases

    If you’re able to cancel with your bank and they haven’t refunded the charge yet, we’ll be able to remove the chargeback fee and issue you a refund which would take 7-10 business days. However, if the chargeback has already been completed, i.e. your bank is refunding you, then you will need to pay the fee to unlock your site and disputes can take a long time, so you could possible not receive your refund for up to 75 days. Please let me know if you’re able to cancel the dispute with your bank.
