As stated on the refund page in the support area of WordPress.com, it will take about a week for the refund to appear on your statement.
To quote:
How will you refund my payment?
You will be refunded to the same payment method you used for your purchase. After processing, refunds usually take about a week to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it may take 5-7 business days to appear on your online bank account or in 1-2 billing statements.

Your refund has been issued, but it takes around two weeks for the refund to appear in your account. Exactly how long depends on your bank, as the delay is due to the time they need to process the refund on their end.
