I cannot accept email invitations

Hello,
My manager has set up 4 blogs and has sent me invites to administer them. 3 have worked fine and I now have access, however the 4th he keeps getting a message ‘invitation not sent, the user has blocked email invites’.
As far as I am aware I have not changed any of my settings and cannot find anywhere where I could request this.
Please can someone advise?
