    I cannot access a wordpress domain that I reserved joydropper.wordpress.com. My site is currently listed as joydropperdotco.wordpress.com

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    joydropper.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
    Did you mean to visit any of these blogs, instead of joydropper.wordpress.com?

    When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.

    If and only if you have the matching username account then the blog is reserved for you and you will be able to log in appropriately and register it after logging in under the correct username account.

    I am not associated with the joydroppers with an s.

    I originally signed up under joydropper.wordpress.com two days ago, then tried to switch it to a dotco (.co), not realizing it changed/added it to the actual website name.

    I then decided a dotco (.co) would be better and wanted to purchased that. However, something happening and I ended up with this: joydropperdotco.wordpress.com. Not what I am looking for…I would have paid for the dotco but didn’t get prompted to that page.

    I tried to switch it back to joydropper.wordpress.com from joydropperdotco.wordpress.com and I received the the message that the domain was reserved. I do not recall changing my username during the last two days, since I did not change my user name to match the blog, but I will try a few different usernames and see if that helps.

    I appreciate the advice.

    Too bad you bumped this thread by posting into it again. There’s a considerable backlog of threads tagged for Staff attention, and Staff work forward from the threads with the earliest date and timestamps to the most recent, as would be expected. By posting again here you moved the datestamp and timestamp forward meaning it will take longer to get help.

    The joydropper account seems to be a 4 year old Akismet acccount – that should prevent you from registering joydropper.wordpress.com – since a blog name is now reserved to match an account name

    @auxclass is correct.

    The address joydropper.wordpress.com is reserved for the WordPress.com user joydropper.

    However, the following domains are available:

    joydropper1.wordpress.com

    joydropper.net

    joydropper.org
