I cannot access dashboard and keep getting error message Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this do
-
Hi WordPress
I am trying to access the dashboard for my site which I think is currently configured to be at agarston.com but should be at eatydrinkywandering.wordpress.com.
This site was until a week ago, a wordpress.org site located at eatydrinkywandering.com (and was hosted by Total Choice Hosting).
Earlier this week, my ownership of the eatydrinkwandering.com domain name expired and hosting by Total Choice came to an end.
Whenever I try and access the site dashboard or any of the dashboard pages, I get the following error message:
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”
A few weeks ago I had inadvertently tried to change the domain name of the site to agarston.com by changing the general settings in the dashboard. After I did that, I couldn’t access the site or the dashboard until I changed something in the site code using the cPanel through my hosting company which reverted back to pointing at eatydrinkywandering.com.
Since hosting has stopped I think the site has reverted to the original wordpress.com site eatydrinkywandering.wordpress.com. However, because I screwed with the domain name in the dashboard settings I think it thinks it should be at agarston.com and I can’t access or see anything.
I cannot access the Dashboard and have no way of reaching the back end of the site without your help. Could you please do whatever you have to do so that the site is NOT pointing to agarston.com and is instead at eatydrinkywandering.wordpress.com?
Thank you
