I am trying to get in via ftp because that is what I read I should do, but I cannot. It says: Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server
and ICANN says clientTransferProhibited
I cannot figure out what to do.WP.com: Unknown

I believe it is an issue with wordpress since i am receiving the message it says that there is no account under our various user names. we had a fully functioning site up until two days ago and now it says that there is not an account???

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
