I cannot access my new account

My new account has the same login details as my old one (I thought I deleted my old one). The new account has my blog on it and I cannot access it. Can I delete my old account? Is there a way I can contact someone from WordPress?

WordPress accounts cannot have duplicate email accounts linked to one account, so I do not think it’s possible that your new account can have the same login details unless you have created a new site on your account after deleting your old site.
Can you please link us to your new blog?
Also, when you go here https://wordpress.com/stats/day/, do you see a arrow in the top left that says “Switch Sites”?

Thanks for the response. I just wanted to add I made the first account through WordPress directly but I was having issues with getting it working. I remade my account via hostgator using the same email and the same password. It may not be the same user name but it’s the same email. I cannot not login to my new one to check what the username is. I just tried what you said and couldn’t see the arrow.

No problem. It looks like your new site is a self-hosted site using the WordPress.ORG platform. This forum is for supporting WordPress.COM built sites.

If you can get to this login and hit “forgot password” that may also get you able to login to your site?

If you are unable to reset your password or login to ivowtotravel.com, I recommend contacting HostGator for help — they should be able to give you some advice about the next steps for gaining access to the site.
