I cannot access my website- please help!

    I cannot access my website (the front end or admin). I keep receiving this error message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare be_themes_contact_authentication() (previously declared in /homepages/19/d425008846/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Ameriteamcareers/wp-content/plugins/be-page-builder_/functions/be-pb-ajax-handler.php:12) in /homepages/19/d425008846/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Ameriteamcareers/wp-content/themes/oshin/ajax-handler.php on line 41

    I updated the version of wordpress, and I know I need to update the plugins, but I cannot get into the site in order to install compatible plugins. Any suggestions?

    It seems that you website is not registered in WordPress.com but you are using the WordPress from https://wordpress.org

    Before you do anything I say, make sure you have a backup.

    Yes, log into your site with FTP so you can see the files, you will want to navigate to /homepages/19/d425008846/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Ameriteamcareers/wp-content/plugins
    that’s your plugin folder, if you go in there, you should see a ‘be-page-builder_’ directory,
    you can try renaming that folder to anything, say ‘be-page-builder_.old’
    and that will make the plugin not found and therefore disabled.
    If the plugin is the only issue then that should fix it, but it’s possible the theme is causing the issue too and that is a bit more complicated since I don’t want to walk you through losing your theme settings.

    That will at least point you in the right direction and if you need additional help, there is always https://wordpress.org/support/ as suggested
