I cannot add pages or menus to top of my blog

  I have watched the customize menu video and something seems to be missing from my Sela theme. I can only add “Home” and “About” at the top. There is no way for me to add a page. I can create more menus but there is no way to do anything beyond that.

  Hi Frances,

  I see 7 different menus that you’ve created. Which menu do you want added to your blog?

  My sense is that you meant to create 1 main menu, not 7. That instead, you want those 7 items to be added as links on your blog’s top level navigation.

  If this is the case, you need to choose 1 of your menus as a Primary Menu. Do that here:

  Once you chosen that menu, you’ll pick menu items from this list:

  The reason you only have one item in your Pages list…is that you haven’t created more than that Page yet. Nothing will appear in that menu for you to choose until you’ve actually created it and published it.

  To create a new page, click here:
  https://francesyoodotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

  Then select “Add New.”

  So, once you create those other 6 pages (or more?), and published them, THEN you should create your Menu.
