I cannot add, remove, or change items in navigation menu

  Is anyone else having this problem? Why can’t I change my navigation menu at all??

  This is also an issue on the free theme Penscratch 2.

  Not only does the Menu not update, but it doesn’t display the widgets on the right hand side that I have inserted.

  I am given the option of default or full width display for my pages, and when choosing default, no widgets are shown on the right.
