I cannot change a nameserver

  While trying to map a domain I own already, I was trying to add nameservers to it, but this option is not available to me. All other functions are depending on it. (There is no section on left side, when I open Edit Domain, that will allow me to change the nameserver)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  Please note that that is for users who registered their domains with us. Since you’re just hosting with us, changing the nameservers will have to be done through your registrar. I did a quick search of your domain and found that it’s registered with Wedos:

  http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=paleo-doupe.cz

  Please contact them and have them update the nameserver to us for you:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Hello Grace,

  I did manage to finally change the nameservers on my hosting provider, but still when I activate forwarding it shows, that page is not available. I will give it some time as I guess all these changes will not start immediatelly, but I guess there is another problem somewhere else. But frankly I have no idea where.

  Hi Metla,

  It looks like you haven’t changed your nameservers yet. It is currently set to:

  ns.wedos.cz
  ns.wedos.eu
  ns.wedos.com
  ns.wedos.net

  Please have them change it to:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Then it will work.
