I cannot change my blog's language

Dear Sirs,
My name is Irene and I am Italian. I am writing to you in order to have help with the language settings in the blog I just opened since all its sections are written in Italian, while I want them to be in English as my posts will be because I would like to have an international audience. I tried to change the language selecting ‘English’ as the language of my blog (and I am sure I did not confuse it with the interface) in the settings tool, but I do not understand why it does not work and everything still appears in Italian.

You can use set only one interface language for your blog.
> Dashboard > Settings > General

Thank you very much timethief, I thought the support service was available in English only, I posted my question in the Italian forum too, now.
I had already tried what you are suggesting, but I don’t know why it does not work… I am not an expert of these things at all, I am a beginner, maybe I am just doing something wrong? Or I simply cannot change that aspect of my blog? I am referring to all the menu options like ‘about’, ‘contacts’, ‘latest posts’, etc. I want them to be written in English. I hope I was clear enough to make you understand my problem! I will wait an answer from the Italian forum as well.Thank you again!

Hi there,
It looks like you’ve figured out how to change the menu language as I now see the links in Italian. The menu shows the titles of your pages, so to change the menu items go to My Site ->Pages and edit the pages to change the title.

Kokkieh, thank you very much for your reply. But the links in my blog were already in Italian, my problem is that I can’t set them in English, I need them to be written in English, and I can’t figure out how to do it… the title is correct, since “B is for Ballet” is the actual name of my blog, but I still see the menu in Italian while I want it in English. Is it possible to change this? I’m so sorry but with computers stuff I’m quite a mess, I’m trying to improve my skills but it doesn’t come really easy to me… may you show me what to do step by step?

Okay, I see you have a custom menu set up, so you need to edit the menu to edit those menu labels. Just to be clear, I’m referring to these:

To edit the menu, you need to go to the Customizer. Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes. In the customizer, click on Menus ->Primary.
There you can click on individual menu items to edit the navigation labels.
