I cannot change my e-mail adress on Polldaddy

Hello,
I’ve first opened a topic on the frenchspoken forum. The moderator airodyssey gave me advices that I have followed but it does not work… I cannot change my email adress, it does not keep it, it goes on keeping my old email address that I don’t use anymore. My new email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff). Can you help me, please ?

Hi @nicoelie, what address do you see listed here?
https://wordpress.com/me/accountI see the one you gave us already. If you don’t, go ahead and type the address you see.
Also, don’t use spaces or what not to try to obfuscate the address. If you will type the address normally, our software will hide it from the public so only staff can see.

But when I go to my control pannel, to Sondages (Poll), I read that :
“Réglages de sondage
Infos du compte Polldaddy
Voici le compte Polldaddy que vous avez joint à votre blog WordPress: (email visible only to moderators and staff)”
I don’t use anymore that email address for a very long time ago, and I don’t remember having mention it once to join it to WordPress.

Try putting a dot in the email address. For example, if your address was
(email visible only to moderators and staff)try
(email visible only to moderators and staff)Our system will consider it a separate address, but your provider will treat it the same. So it will be like having two accounts with what is functionally the same email address.

No, it does not tell me anything about my email address having been used for another account. There is not any message of anykind… It just does nothing at all.
And the address you told you’ve read ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is my current address, the one is recorded on WordPress for my blog, but not for PollDaddy, it seems (?)

Will you please try using the dot trick to see if that makes a difference? I believe the problem is that the accounts are now tied together, and your current address is already in use here.

Okay, keep cool. No need to upset… I actually did what you asked me to do and… that does not work either…
Here is the message it shows :
“WP User Not Found, 1008
La connexion au compte n’a pu être établie. Votre adresse email et votre mot de passe sont-ils exacts?” -
Hi, no worries, I am not upset. I just didn’t hear anything back about that suggestion to see whether it would help.
