I cannot change the header.

I would like to change my header image. I’ve tried changing it several times and even erasing the header image. But it still defaults to the old header image

The main column width is up to 840.
The sidebar column width is up to 300.
The recommended Featured Image size is 1200 wide.

You can remove the privacy setting from the site so we Volunteers can help you.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to Settings → Reading and then scroll down to Site Visibility
To change blog visibility to private go to > Dashboard > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 1 .
