I cannot change theme in my website

    I don´t know what´s wrong, but it seems like I can´t change the theme on my website. Any tips?

    Hi there,

    This is because your Business Plan is expired.

    When you install plugins on our Business Plan, we make some changes to how the site works behind the scenes, which means that some features will stop working if the plan is removed.

    To get everything working again we can either add a new Business Plan to your site, or we can revert the site back to how it was before you installed any plugins, and properly downgrade it back to the free plan. Note that if we revert the site, there is a risk that content added after you installed plugins might be lost.

    Please let me know what you’d prefer to do, and we can get the process started.

    I’ll update my site to Personal plan soon. I don´t have enough money for Business plan atm :) Do I buy this plan first or will you do the reverting before I purchase the Personal plan? How big risk it is that content can be lost?

    We will need to revert the site before. You will likely lose all content added after you’ve installed the first plugin, but no worries, we won’t do anything until you’ve confirmed that you’ve backed up all your content :)
    So, create a free site, you can name it, for example, heidikinnunenbackup.wordwress.com. Then, go to the original site, export all the content as explained here:

    Then, use the XML file you obtained to import the content to the backup site:

    https://wordpress.com/support/import/#importing-content-from-another-wordpress-blog

    Once that is done, have a look if everything has been copied correctly. If it has, let us know here and we’ll rever the site.
    If any content is lost, you will be able to do the exact same steps between the backup site and the original site, to bring over any missing content.
