  I cannot connect my domain to my WordPress.com and it says I didn’t buy the WordPress.com eCommerce package. Please, advise. I’ve been trying to figure this out since August 25, 2021.

  In order to use a custom domain on your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to upgrade the site to a paid plan. You can see a list of WordPress.com plans here: https://wordpress.com/plans

  I’m not seeing any paid plans on your site at http://grungecakecom.wordpress.com as it’s on the free plan. Do you want to upgrade this site to a paid plan (like the WordPress.com eCommerce plan)? If yes, you can go to https://wordpress.com/plans/grungecakecom.wordpress.com and after upgrading, follow the instructions here to connect an existing domain to this site or register a new one.
