I cannot connect to LinkedIn

  When I try to connect through WordPress.com I see an error message: There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again.

  I have cleared my cache, my entire history and my cookies. I have tried to do it the reverse way by going through LinkedIn but cannot get anywhere there, either.
