I cannot export content from my WordPress.com blog

  Let me know if both WXR XML export files are in process because my deadline is coming soon (only three days left), and I still don’t know if HostGator tech support could be able to help me export the entire content.

  I got them both. So far, the blog posts from elmundotech.wordpress.com have been exported, but the same can not be said about the images. Only 9% of the images have been transferred so far. The people at HostGator have said to split the file using that software and have given me instructions too. I guess it is all up to me now. Thank you very much (again).

  Hi. This is to let you know I have transferred all of the blog posts and media files. It took me over 26 hours to do it all. I had to to edit the big file, then repeat the process of uploading each split files many times. I had some problems with 40+ files that were showing up “Failed to import Media” messages. I disabled all plugins (except the Importer one) and choose the 2012 theme to make this work. Now the entire content of my blog is on the new site, ready for its 5th anniversary.

  Now comes the 2nd hardest part, divide each blog posts in two (one in English, one in Spanish) by using WPML.
