I cannot export posts from one wordpress blog to another one

  I cannot export posts from one wordpress blog to another one. For some reason the usual export/import system is not working for me. Can anyone help please?

  The posts to be exported are dated August 2012 – January 2013 on http://www.vindicatemj.wordpress.com

  The place to import them into is http://www.vindicatemjj.wordpress.com

  Can the happiness engineers please help?

  First I select some posts and press the “export”button on blog No.1. A certain file is loaded onto my computer.
  Then I go to the second blog and press “import” from WordPress. The wordpress answers that it is processing my request and if they posts are not imported within 24 hours “please contact support”.
  I’ve tried twice and both times nothing happened.

  P.S. I am a little worried that before “importing” I don’t select any “exported” file on my computer assuming that it will be done automatically. Am I making a mistake here?
