I cannot find a solution for a persistent issue

  I should not have purchasing two domains with similar names within one week. This has caused problems for both me and WordPress because I did put a hold on consumersgoodsandservices.com and I starting setting up the other domain -consumergoodsandservices.ca. on WordPress. My focus now is the domain that I had put on hold -consumersgoodsandservices.com. Since purchasing the domain Sept-Oct’25 I am unable to start creating a website. I need to transfer out the domain and it took some time as the account needed to be verified. It is now verified but another problem with the domain is causing a delay. The account for this domain is with Apple and I have lost the Apple account because somehow the Apple account is corrupted. The account got exposed online. I do not know how. I now need help to connect the domain to another account so WordPress can help me with the transfer. The Apple account was – consumersgoodsandservices.co/(email visible only to moderators and staff). Now I need help to use -consumersgoodsandservices.com/(email visible only to moderators and staff). Waiting for a response from WordPress is difficult as I came so close to a solution and now I am unsure. I did buy this domain and put it on hold for later and now I am stuck THANKS Lorna Joseph/email:(email visible only to moderators and staff)

  First, the domain consumersgoodsandservices.com was purchased through Apple’s domain registration flow and is currently tied to an Apple-managed account. Even though your WordPress.com account is now verified, WordPress.com does not have direct control over domains registered via Apple. This means we cannot change the domain’s account email, ownership, or transfer settings from our side.

  Because the Apple ID associated with the domain is no longer accessible or has been compromised, the only way to regain control of that domain is through Apple Support. They are the registrar in this case, and only they can help you recover access, update the email address, or authorize a transfer.

  What I recommend doing next:

  1. Contact Apple Support directly and explain that:
     • You purchased the domain through Apple.
     • The Apple ID associated with it is no longer accessible.
     • You need to recover the domain or change the account email so you can transfer it out.
  2. Once Apple restores access or updates the account details, you will be able to:
     • Unlock the domain.
     • Request the authorization (EPP) code.
     • Start the domain transfer to another registrar or connect it properly to WordPress.com.
