Part of your problem is that you are hosted on DREAMHOST.COM and there is no domain mapping for your URL

the problem is this..my website http://www.peiarts.com was running until July 1st. the hosting company (local) which 3rd party hosted by account went out of business…she used dream host but registered it to her own company. now dreamhost says I have no access b/c it was registered to another person, i.e. the local company who was hosting me. on July 1st my website disappeared from site altogether..i can’t get into the files on wordpress where it was initially created, and b/c I have no hosting account on my own w/Dream Host, and only this person whom I contracted w/does..i can’t get access to my files here on wordpress to upload it to another hosting company…I am going nuts trying to fix this..any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

yes, it was created with wordpress.com initially and the domain name was registered in 2007 with go daddy.com; our website was accessible through wordpress to make edits, changes, etc., until june 30, 2013. the user name was peiarts

I had a user name, a password, and I was always able to get into my account for http://www.peiarts.com until the local hosting company whom I contracted to do my hosting (and who used dreamhost) went under..now I cannot find my working files, nor can I get any response from dreamhost, as the local company had it all under her own name
as host provider. -
There are NO files of your here – READ the link above I gave you
your beef is with the company that went out of business – the looks of WordPress.ORG install (your site) and WordPress.COM (here) are small on the way things look –
your old company should have given you a copy of the files, they might be on Dreamhost somewhere – but the old company needs to work with Dreamhost to get them for you – should take only a few emails
MAKE FRIENDS AT WORDPRESS.ORG – as recommended above – people in the help forum deal with problems like yours every day –

ok, went on worpress.org and it is saying I am not registered there..however, when I input my user id here, it bring me up as a registered user…I am not website or wordpress savvy..all I do know is that until july 1st, I had a working website hosted at dreamhost, and all of my access to make edits, changes, additions were done by logging into wordpress..so what has happened to cause my files to disappear from here, and when I input http://www.peiarts.com I get nothing!!!
