I was working on a blog post for my school assignment which I had spent hours on. I think I clicked the back button on chrome or something but the page completely disappeared. I am panicking as I need this assignment asap. The title was Adnan Syed, guilty or not, or something like that, however, if I revisit the page via my history, the title is just —- GUIlty, as if I had just started the project. Is there a link in the post editor to a more recent version stored in your browser (or something to that effect)? You may be able to restore some of the work that way.

I have no clue. I am panicking though. I think my computer WIFI was bugging or something, but earlier today it was completely fine so there should be at least some work but everything is missing aside from the title.

Please someone help me retrieve this. It is incredibly important. I really have no clue where it went. The document even has an image that was used in the history of it, but there is no image when I go on the actual work. The image has also seemed to disappear, but thats the least of my worries. My worries is the actual content and writing.

I only see a post from yesterday with the title Guil with no revisions. To confirm, is the post with the content now missing? Do you remember making any manual saves or updates to the post? Also, were you creating this post on a desktop or through a mobile device via the app?
This issue with your network may have prevented the post from saving. The post would need to have been manually saved as a draft or updated in order for there to be revision history:

Guil is the post that had all the content. I didn’t make any manual saves to the post, I was assuming everything was being auto saved. I was not home, so I was connected to a different internet. I guess when I came home, the internet was bugging a little bit. Does this mean I cannot recover the content at all?

Same thing happened to me. I was working on something then today its gone. It was there yesterday but now its gone. There has to be a glitch on the wordpress server!

@happybabypose, Even though the outcome is the same, it is often the case that the underlying cause is different from the issue in the original post.

Yes it is possible that the network change could cause an issue here. If you open the post in the editor (as if to edit it again) so you see an option displayed on screen to restore any unsaved changes? We attempt to save any changes locally (to your browser storage) so re-editing the post should give you this option as long as you are using the same computer and browser as before.
If you do not see that message then sadly there is nothing we can do on this end to restore your content.
