  I am trying to add an html tag to my site and I cannot find the tools option.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  When you are writing your post you have two different editing modes to chose from: ‘visual’ and ‘text’. In the text mode you can add html tags. On the right side of the text area, click on the text tab to switch to text editing mode. You can learn more here https://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/

  It is a google html tag for site verification, and I can’t find the tools menu that everyone keeps pointing me to in order to add it to my site.
