I cannot get the ssl. I follow your steps (over and over) and I get this: ‘Free SSL Certificate Unknown

  Help me get the ssl certificate that is advertised as ‘free’ and ‘easy’. This is holding up my website development and if I can’t get this resolved soon, I am going to demand a refund

  WordPress.com gives free SSL for all sites hosted on these servers. That doesn’t apply to WordPress.org sites on other hosting companies, sorry to say.

  What site are you trying to add SSL?
