I cannot index my free page; need to update the platform?

    Hello,
    I would like to know how to update the platform. I had an older account (2014) and I changed the address, etc. But I suspect I might have to update it to a more recent version cause I cannot index the page, it keeps failing after I follow the steps carefully. I am using a free version, for the time being. I hope this does not influence it.
    b) Eventually, I will change to word reference.org, which seems more complete, isn’t it? But I am a beginner.

    Yes of course,
    My page http://hamilsonlangidiomas.wordpress.com does not appear on Google. I have followed the steps indicated for indexing: the first step is fine, I verify and it is accepted, but then on the last one it fails, and it says I have to try again. I have done this so many times it is so upsetting, it keeps failing!
    Because of this, I thought it might perhaps be due to the fact that I had an old page (I opened up in 2013), which did appear everywhere. I used this same page to create a new one, I mean I changed the site address only. What should I do?
    This is driving me mad.

    Hi,

    This is happening because you changed the address. Google will realize that in time and start including your site again in its search results. This might take several weeks, but you can ask Google to recrawl your site if you want to speed it up. Here’s the guide:

    Thanks a million!

    I think I’ve got it now, (deleted “idiomas” in the above address),
    It reads: “property verified” and “HTLM tag verified” too, in google console. So, now I’ll have to wait until I can see it elsewhere.
