i cannot install google analytics

  I have downloaded the google analytics for wordpress plugin. There is no installation file or any guidance on how to install.
  I am unable to find a way to install google analytics the traditional way either.

  Please please can somebody assist me urgently as this is critical.

  Hi,

  We don’t allow plugins to be installed at the free blogs hosted at WordPress.com. You can only install plugins for self–hosted (WordPress.org) blogs.
