I cannot login anymore on my WP site

    Hi there,

    I have issues to connect to my WP website.
    My login and password are fine, but when I click on the “connect” button, the page juste reload itselfs without saying any error message.
    If I click on “forgotten password” it sends me a mail with a link, but then when I click on the link the page says that the link isn’t valid. I’ve tried several times.
    I tried to find some informations online and tried theses with no result :
    – I’ve checked if mySQL base was full, and it was, so I emptied it but nothing happened
    – I’ve tried to change my password via PHPmyadmin (but the password seems to be right anyway)
    – I’ve tried to change my password via FTP
    – I’ve tried to change my password via emergency.php script

    Anyone would know how I can get out of this mess? It’s a big issue I cannot use my website anymore…

    Can you confirm which connect page you’re referring to? If you’re trying to connect Jetpack and can send a link to the site, we may be able to point you in the right direction.

    Hi there,

    That site is not hosted with us, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. So unfortunately we don’t have any control over your login details for that site.

    It sounds like you’ve already tried everything in the password reset documentation for that software at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/, but you can try asking for advice in the WordPress.org forums – the people there are more experienced with this type of issue, and might be able to suggest something you haven’t tried yet.

    Failing that, your hosting provider should also be able to help you regain access. It looks like you’re hosted by OVH. You can find their support site here:
