I cannot post any new posts on my blog

  When I type a new post and click on publish, it gets stuck at this point and doesn’t move any further.

  Hi there,
  Are you trying to create posts on your own blog’s dashboard? There are long standing issue with creating new posts on the main page of WordPress.com. Using the “Add New” on the main page for wordpress.com here http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ is only for creating “Asides” and using it can result in empty drafts.

  Aside – These are brief snippets of text that aren’t quite whole blog posts. Useful for quick thoughts and anecdotes http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-formats/

  But if you create posts on your own dashboard then you won’t have the empty drafts and can’t recover issue http://thebikerblondie.wordpress.com//wp-admin/post-new.php

  (1) Which browser and version of it you are using?

  (2) How you are connecting to the internet and to wordpress.com (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) ?

  (3) are you using the secure https:// login
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  I was trying to post using the “quick” new post button at the top right hand corner of the page. I have just tried using the main dashboard and finally, the post published.
