how do I delete my free theme so I can add my premium theme? I cannot see a way to change themes. Do I just start again?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you referring to these premium themes which are the only paid themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs?
If so the see:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/If not then read on please. The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs like your blog are the themes found here http://wordpress.com/themes/
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

Is the theme purchased as an upgrade from WordPress.COM or it it a third party outside theme?
If it is from WordPress.COM just activate the theme – Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes
If the theme is from an outside source you can’t use it here.

I purchased Genesis and modern blogger pro through StudioPress.com, which was a link provided by WordPress.
Do you know where I can host the genesis framework on that is fairly reasonable?

I thought I clearly stated above that you cannot use that theme on a WordPress.COM hosted blog like http://dreamdropballoons.wordpress.com/
Either get a refund if your intend to blog here ate WordPress.COM. Or hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install and use it there, because you cannot use it on any blog here.

yes you did make clear but I purchased genesis framework and theme before reading these details, was just hoping theres a way around it..will try bluehost they have a money back guarantee! thanks for your help timethief!
