I cannot reset my password! Locked out of my site

  1. I am logging into mywebsite.com/wp-admin/ and it seems I forgot my password.
  2. Click Lost your Password
  3. Receive email to reset password. Click on link
  4. Am brought to page that says ‘Lost your password? Please enter your username or email address. You will receive a link to create a new password via email.’ Enter email address.
  5. Receive email….. Steps 3 and 4 repeat themselves. Continue repeating….

  HOW CAN I SUCCESSFULLY LOG INTO MY WEBSITE?

  STILL locked out of my site in this repeating loop of asking to reset my password. Can anyone help? THANK YOU in advance!

  Have you tried inputting your username rather than an email address? What is the address of the site you need access to and is it hosted here at WordPress.com?

  Yes, I have tried both email and username for the reset, with the same result. The site is hosted by GoDaddy.

  This is the support forum for sites hosted by WordPress.com. If your site is hosted by GoDaddy you’ve been asking in the wrong support forum. Are you trying to reset a password for this WordPress.com account rather than your actual still-unnamed site?
