I cannot see my blog post on my blog page

  I just published a blog post at https://malaysiaforestandisland.wordpress.com/blog/

  I have checked and it is published, it is not a draft.

  However, I cannot see it on the live page.

  Help gratefully received.

  Howdy –

  The post is there on your Blog page.

  You need to click on it to open up the full post. Click on “First Impressions” This theme uses post excerpts, so you can add a bit of an excerpt there if you like.

  Thanks for your reply. It is not clear to me how I can remove “This is the excerpt for your very first post” and replace it with my excerpt. (When I chose that blog posts should appear as excerpts, I had assumed this would happen automatically.) Please could you explain how to get my excerpts appearing? Many thanks.

  No problem. When you open up the First Impressions post from My Sites > Blog Post
  https://wordpress.com/post/malaysiaforestandisland.wordpress.com/4

  Find the left hand menu. The last tab is labeled “… More Options” click on that. There you’ll see the post excerpt box.
