I cannot sign in to the wordpress App

Hello there,
I hope you are doing great.
I have downloaded the wordpress App for desktop (Windows 8.1) but each time I want to sign in I face with this message:
The request to undefined failed (code ETIMEDOUT), please check your internet connection and try again.
P.S it’s not first time I see such message. I have faced it when I had installed windows 7 too.
would you help me with this please.

Have you been speaking with us over Twitter as well about this?
Please check if flushing the DNS cache in Windows makes any difference. If you’re using a proxy or VPN, also try temporarily disabling that to see if it helps.
Just to confirm, you’re logging in using the account credentials for this WordPress.com account, correct?

yes that was me.
I tried disabling VPN and flushing DNS cache and neither of them worked.
yes I use same username and password that I use to sign in to WP through my browser. -
On Twitter you reported that things were working properly through the browser. Is that still the case? The site does work properly for me in the US. The proxy seems to be the issue with the app.

yes it works perfectly good through the browser.
I also think the proxy cause the problem.
