How do I turn comments off on pages?

  i cannot find the two boxes that disable all comments in the discussion page… all i can find is the ability to control which comments i allow, etc… i want to turn the option off completely like the help page says i can… thanks.

  Please try disabling your discussion settings for that page in your page editor (the page where you draft and edit the page) . Your discussion settings for that page are located below the text box where you draft your page content.
