I cannot update pages and blogs

    I am getting 2 error messages – HOW TO FIX? [1] An error occurred while fetching your account recovery settings, and [2] Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Problem solved by clearing out all Chrome browser cookies and cache, verifying that all WordPress Account Profile, Settings and Security fields were correctly set.
