  Someone please get back to me from WordPress – this is a ‘behind the scenes’ job…there is nothing i can do.

  @ihhoye, as long as the new address doesn’t exist in the system, you should be able to fix it here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  When you update it there, the new address will receive confirmation. If you get an error, it’s likely that the new address is already in the system under another account, so you might try a different address. I hope that helps!
