It just stays on a white screen. I don’t know what to do.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

n 2017 we paid a developer to build our website for our event center. They handled all the initial set up from domain to WP set up. I have access to the WP login to make some changes but not everything and I get the “WordPress 5.3.2 is available! Please notify the site administrator.” We have tried to contact the developer with no luck since they went out of business over a year ago. My registration expires next year and we don’t want to loose our domain for a business and also want to do a complete updated site. My question would be how would we go about getting access to our domain dashboard and update renewal payments?

  • Hi @lebronze69,

Are you talking about brettwhitemantopics.wordpress.com? It loads without any issues for me. Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache? You can find here more information on how to clear the cache depending on your browser:

I’d rather not clear browser cache because it saved a lot of things I need on here. Is there another way to get it to work?

  • The browser cache is a place where your browser automatically stores files and information from websites you visit so it doesn’t have to fetch that information from the server every time you visit the same website. It’s not something where you can manually save things you need.

The browser cache is constantly refreshing and updating itself, but sometimes a file gets stuck and doesn’t get updated, leading to issues like you’re describing. 90% of all website issues can be resolved by just manually clearing the cache, which is why it’s the first thing any tech support person will tell you.

If you’re not willing to clear the browser cache, the only other suggestion we can make is that you use a different browser that doesn’t already have anything cached for your site.
