I can’t access my Meg(a)bytes blog

I created this site and authored the blog posts, but I don’t have access for some reason through my email. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you.

That site was last updated in 2017. This account you are posting from now wasn’t created until 2019. Log out of this account and log back in to the correct account

I’m aware that it was 2017 since I last accessed it. Unfortunately, when I attempt to do account recovery, wordpress isn’t sending anything to the email address associated with that account (I checked spam and junk)

I’d prefer to link that account with my new one and delete the old, but I’m not sure if that’s possible

Sorry to post again, but one final note is that the email address associated with the account is one that was changed by the admin of the organization and I can no longer receive email to that account. I can access the entirety of the emails sent prior to that time, but I can’t send/receive from that email address. I moved from a student account to a teacher account, which changed the email address slightly.
If it’s easier, I’d rather delete the old account (meagancwe) and move the blog to my new account.

I’m afraid you need to access the old account first to transfer the site to a different account. Password resets will only ever be sent to the email address you associated with the site so it would help if you could recall the original password.

I don’t have access to the old email account to receive or send mail. I have access to archived messages received from WordPress associated with the account if there’s a way that I could forward them to prove that it is, indeed, my account. Otherwise, I have no way to receive a password reset because the email account was closed by the admin (not me) and replaced.

Hi!
I do have proof in the form of emails that were sent to the now defunct email account from WordPress. I have those archived emails, I just can’t send/receive emails to that defunct account *now*. So, I can’t reset my password, since that email account is no longer functioning.
I appreciate your help and I will email that team. I really hope this can be addressed so that I have access to my own account and my own writing.
