Hello friends for the last week I have been getting this message http://www.halfmoonyoga.org/: Googlebot can’t access your site
Over the last 24 hours, Googlebot encountered 1 errors while attempting to access your robots.txt. To ensure that we didn’t crawl any pages listed in that file, we postponed our crawl. Your site’s overall robots.txt error rate is 50.0%.
and now I can’t access my site at all
The site is http://www.halfmoonyoga.org it is word press.com site.
I rang the people who I thought hosted it (openhost) and they said it was hosted in America, but they didn’t think the above was a problem. I think other people can access it because I still get a few comments if you have any suggestions I would be most greatful

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is indeed a WordPress.com site, hosted by WordPress.com. But it takes an age to load. Have you optimized your header image for the web, or how big a file is it? Sometimes if your site takes too long to load because of huge images, it will show errors.

Yikes Grateful spelt wrong. I changed the photo. I think you are right that the photos slow things down. It didn’t help make it faster though. How do I change all the photos now and to what size? I thought wordpress .com did that automatically. I thought with .org you could get smush it or something to resize the photos. The thing is I haven’t added anything different just my daily blogs. It suddenly went slow for me. What can I physically do to resize all the photos as you say. Maybe they are all a problem?

Me again I found some ready made headers, I found out they should be under 30 kb and when I put them on the site loaded much faster thank you. You were really helpful
