  • Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve had a quick look at milkcratevinyl.com and can see that it’s set up on the open source WordPress software and hosted by Google.

Here at WordPress.com we offer a managed hosting solution. That means our team handles every single back end detail that needs around the clock attention in order for you to have a successful online presence. These are items like back ups, updates, security, spam protection, mobile optimization, top notch hosting, ssl, seo support, and so forth.

When your site runs a stand alone WordPress installation, like how you’re currently set up, that means that you have to pay attention to all of those details or the site breaks, or you lose access, and frustrations rise.

We aren’t able to help you directly since the site is not hosted here. You should be able to reach out to Google’s website hosting support. Otherwise, there’s a volunteer network on https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ where you might get some help.

If a managed hosting environment seems to be a better fit for your experience level and your project’s overall success, let us know. We can chat about the different options and what’s involved with moving a site. In the long run, you get to focus on content and we handle the rest. Our hosting plans are on https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and I can answer any questions you have about those.
