I can't access my word press blog. Help me please.
-
I am trying to figure out why I suddenly can not access my blog and why non of my work or plugins are on the dashboard any longer. I had a reader attempt to read one of my posts and my site wasn’t showing up. I tried and am having the same issue. Then when I log on via wordpress and see if maybe something is up there everyhting looks odd and my plugins are gone, and I can’t access my posts.
Please help me,
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi themomnipresentmother,
If you are using Jetpack to link your site to WordPress.com then I would contact Jetpack.com.
I used https://jetpack.com/support/debug/ and found this.
Debug
XML-RPC is not responding correctly ( 500 )
It looks like XML-RPC is not responding correctly. Please make sure XML-RPC is turned on for your site and is set up to respond to all content types. You can test this yourself by running the following command from the command line:curl -A ‘Jetpack by WordPress.com’ -d ‘<methodCall><methodName>demo.sayHello</methodName></methodCall>’ http://www.themomnipresentmother.com./xmlrpc.php
The answer should be:<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
<methodResponse>
<params>
<param>
<value>
<string>Hello!</string>
</value>
</param>
</params>
</methodResponse>
If you continue to get this error, please check out our troubleshooting guide or contact support.Hope this helps!

I took a look at your site and it appears a WordPress.ORG self hosted site. This means that it is a self hosted installation. The help we have to offer may not apply to your situation as WordPress.ORG sites have a completely different support area.
I did search a little for your problem and found this in the .ORG support though. XML-RPC I Hope it’s a good place for you to start.
We cannot provide support for installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are separate and have functionality differences as well as support documentation. You can read about it here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support.
You should be able to find quite a lot of help there.
Cheers!

I was a paid site, and although I thought I had until December to renew my plan it apparently needed renewed earlier this month while I was at the beach on vacation with my family with no internet access. So I just “upgraded” to the personal plan on a monthly basis until I can save enough for the yearly lump sum ( I would have had it in December when I expected it to come due).
Only issue now is I still can not get my site to load, and on the dashboard non of my posts, or plugins, ect. are loading.
Is my previous content just lost? If so I guess I will just let this month run out and just not renew and give up my blog. It took awhile to get it where it was and I just got a job I start tomorrow which will give me much less time to bother with blogging.
Thank you in advance for all help.

That is odd. I am assuming that it is only showing up as a .org because I failed to renew/ As before I am pretty sure I was using wordpress.com. IF I was using .org what on earth was I paying for? My dashboard where I looked at stats and created posts where and are all saying .com

I’m sorry I think I was not entirely clear.
The site is hosted by one of our preferred partners where your domain was purchased.Web Hosting Provider: BlueHost
IP: 69.89.31.239
Location: United States ( Market Share)
Domain Who Is: Click Here
Nameservers: themomnipresentmother.com, ns2.bluehost.com, ns1.bluehost.comYou can connect it to WordPress.com by mapping the domain to us here or you could use Jetpack to connect the site to manage it through WordPress.com.
If there was a Premium plan or Business that was downgraded to a personal plan a few things could have happened that may cause odd behavior. If you were using a premium theme or had heavy customization it would be disabled and a free theme applied.
I put up a modlook tag on this post so that a they can take a look and see if I’m missing anything.
Hope this helps a little more, we would hate to see you go, but congratulations on the new job!

Hi there,
Your site is hosted with Bluehost, not with WordPress.com. That means you are paying Bluehost for hosting, and it’s your plan with them that expired and which you need to renew. The Jetpack Personal subscription you bought from us earlier today has nothing at all to do with your hosting, and is the first upgrade you’ve ever bought from us.
Please contact Bluehost support for help with this, as we have no control over your site itself. Jetpack only allows you to post to the site using our interface, but that’s where our involvement stops.
-
Okay. Thank you. I will look into what is going on with bluehost. Hopefully I can get it all resolved.
-
Well I logged into my blue host control panel area with all the little squares that take you to different tools. According to that my plan has not expired so I am still rather confused. I never really used that page other than when I initially set everything up and have no idea what to click on to figure it out.

@themomnipresentmother can you contact Bluehost for further help? They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue or restore a backup. Your site is not on our servers, though, so we aren’t able to help in the same way we could if you were hosted here.
If Bluehost sends you to WordPress support, you’ll actually want to use the community forums for self-hosted sites instead, at https://wordpress.org/support
Hope that helps!
