    I have recently installed a new theme.

    I’m having the exact same issue. Found some posts that say you need to delete the white space, but I can’t even get into my admin site to try this. Please let me know if you discover a solution.

    thank you

    @ajnissly9
    That is not worpdress.COM hosted site error message.
    That is a wordpress.ORG software install error message.

    This is wordpress.COM support where we provide support only for sites hosted by wordpress.COm. hosted by wordpress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to that site and we do not provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
    WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
