I can’t add a link to my homepage in my “Pages”

  I am using the default theme, with some CSS modifications I did myself. On the right-hand sidebar, I created a navigation bar that links to the different pages on the site. I want one of these buttons to link to the homepage, so that readers can get back home from any page. However, WordPress won’t let me change the URL to be the homepage. What can I do?

  I can’t seem to see where my avatar and about me page, actually are in my blog? Can you help me get a link to my about me page, from my blog? Thanks!
