I can't add a linkedin profile badge to my 'about me' page.
-
I’m trying to add my linkedin profile badge to my ‘about me’ page. When I tried to add this badge to a sample HTML page it can be done and was proper to see. But I applied same code for my ‘About me’ page but it’s not done properly.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What kind of HTML code are you trying to add? Can you paste the code here?
Based on the .js link on your about page, I’m guessing that you are trying to add JavaScript code, which is not permitted on WordPress.com.
Does LinkedIn have an alternative option? Do they provide any straight HTML code for you to use?
If you’d like to add social media icons, including LinkedIn to your site, here’s some information on how to do so: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/social-media-icons-widget/

I added my LinkedIn and Facebook (as well as a Follow button) to the footer of my website (siennamaeheath.wordpress.com). I see them in the Customize menu, but not on the real website. Do you know why?
-
@siennamaeheath – I am seeing the Facebook and LinkedIn icons under the word”Social” in the left hand side of your footer and also seeing the Blue “Follow Sienna Mae Heath’s Writing” in the center of your footer.
Perhaps it wasn’t saved when you first looked but now it is?

This is what I am seeing when I look at your site
https://cldup.com/p1mQ8iCNpn.pngIt’s showing the Facebook and Linkedin and Follow icons.
Are you not seeing those on your end?

Thanks for helping me out. I see the same thing in the editing menu, but it does not show up on the real website.

I’m going to tag this thread with modlook so the staff can see if there’s something impacting your ability to see it.
Could you tell me what browser and operating system you are using?

I still can’t see all my Widgets in Google Chrome, but when I look at my website on my husband’s Apple computer I see two Follow buttons (one on the side and one in the footer). I would like only one Follow button on the side (not in the footer) throughout the whole website. Can you help me do this?

Hi there,
I can see all your widgets in Chrome as well, so the problem is most likely with your installation of Chrome. Do you use any ad-blocker or antivirus extensions in Chrome? Those extensions often work by the blocking any and all JavaScript on a page, which could prevent some widgets from working. Can you check if loading your site in a private tab in Chrome makes any difference?
To remove the button in the footer, go to the Customizer and click on Widgets ->Footer. You can remove it there.

Ah, yes, I do have Adblocker. Thanks for your help. I’d appreciate if you could take a look at my other posts on this forum.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ve replied to your other unanswered threads as well.
