I can’t add pictures to my blog

  I can upload pictures but when I try to insert them, my dashboard screen becomes gray and inactive and the screen with the pictures showing won’t let me do anything. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

  I’m having a similar problem, for about two weeks now. I can upload pictures, but then when I hit ‘insert into post’, I get a white screen and in the bottom left corner it just says “Done.” If I log out of WordPress and log back in again, sometimes it will work (sometimes it won’t). Usually I give up and wander off, and try again the next day. It’s beyond frustrating. I’ve tried uploading with both the Flash and Browser options and they both work until I get to the ‘insert’ phase.

  Any advice appreciated.

  @humblewoodcutter, others have been experiencing this as well, and all I have to offer is the following:

  1. Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. In some cases this has fixed the problem and in others it has not.

  2. Make sure that the editor page has completely finished loading before you click on the “add media” button. If the page does not completely load before you click the “add media” button, this can happen according to staff.
