I can't attach previously uploaded images to a page

  Is it possible to attach images to a page that were previously uploaded to a post? I want to create a gallery/ slideshow page containing the images I have previously uploaded to posts. There seems to be no direct correlation between the images currently in my media library and the ability to make a slide show. Do I really have to go back and re upload/ re title each image individually in order to add it to another page? This seems like such a giant waste of time.

  Yes, unfortunately at this time you’ll need to re-upload the images to attache them to specific posts or pages.
