I can't be removed as an administrator

    I am one of three Admins on our blog. I no longer want to be an admin. But neither the other admin nor I can remove me. We all get an error message.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    If you are the owner of the blog you can’t be removed nor can you leave the blog

    If you transfer the blog to another account / owner then you will automatically be removed from the blog

    Dashboard >> My Blogs >> Mouse over the blog name an click on “Transfer” follow instructions, be sure to spell the account correctly that you want to transfer the blog to – not much error checking

    Thanks for the help, that should do it.

    It seems to be an unnecessarily complicated process. Why can’t WordPress just list “owner” as one of the user types?
