I can't cancel my expired domain

  Hi,

  I use to own somerandomcreative.com and let it expire because I wanted to change the name of my blog to samiedojo.com.

  I just purchased samiedojo.com and had it map to somerandomcreative.wordpress.com.

  Currently when I go to samiedojo.com, I get “Uh oh! Your blog’s domain somerandomcreative.com expired 70 days ago!”
  This pop up gives me the option to cancel the old domain, but when I click that option, I get: “You cannot cancel this domain because it was not registered with WordPress.com. Please contact support.”

  Is this something that will take time to resolve, or is there something I am missing? Any help is much appreciated!
