i can't change my username

  Hi,

  I registered at wordpress months ago and forgetting about it, but something went wrong and now my username is this nonsense string.

  When I click on the “change” link next to my username in settings, it just redirects me to the same page.
  I’ve already changed my display name, but I’d like to know if I could do something about this too.

  Hi,
  I was getting the same thing. If you do it directly from wordpress.com settings it doesn’t work. Go into one of your blogs back end (dashboard), Users > scroll over the user, hit edit, down to account details, hit change on username.

  Hi John,
  It seems it’s changed by now, but I didn’t do anyhting. So maybe there was only a system bug.
